Earlier this month, Shontelle had a photoshoot in Brooklyn (NY) with celebrity photographer “Robert Ascroft”, for her upcoming album “No Gravity“, slated for a Spring 2010 release on SRP/SRC/Universal Motown Records.

The highly anticipated sophomore album is expected to have a much harder and edgier sound, nothing like what fans would expect from her. The stunning lead single “IMPOSSIBLE” (produced by Arnthor Birgisson) impacted radio yesterday and will be available on US iTunes next week! (February 9th, 2010)

With such follow-ups as “DJ Made Me Do It“, “Kiss You Up“, “Say Hello To Goodbye“, and collaborations with hit makers Sean Garrett, “No Doubt’s” Tony Kanal, and Akon protégées Rock City, Shontelle has crafted an album loaded with smashes that will keep her high on the charts throughout 2010 and beyond. The new music video is scheduled to be shot in Los Angeles early February with director “TAJ” (Anthony Mandler’s protégé).

Yesterday, Shontelle and label mates Hal Linton, Vita Chambers, Melanie Fiona & Ryan Leslie, all wrapped up shooting their parts for a very special upcoming Universal Motown 50th anniversary show for Thanksgiving.

This is the second picture with three of the internationally signed Barbadian artistes together. The only missing people to make this photo complete are Rihanna (Def Jam), Livvi Franc (Jive) and Jaicko (Capitol)… Bajan Invasion! (Props to Christie for these photos!)

During Shontelle’s recent trip to Barbados, she went to “Bump N Wine” to shoot a segment and feature for an upcoming BET’s “Access Granted” TV show hosted by Leah Marville.

Yesterday Shontelle uploaded over 20+ more videos on her Kyte Channel. Majority of them were from her trip to Glasgow while she was touring with New Kids on the Block in January 2009. The remaining videos are clips of her touring Belfast & performing in Belfast around the time of Obama’s Inauguration and also a couple recent ones from London and in New York City with Kat DeLuna, shooting the ‘Ultimate Prom’ episodes.

Some behind the scenes footage of Tina Parol, Kat DeLuna and Shontelle filming the Ultimate Prom 2009 episodes! Shontelle will be one of the special appearances on this year’s ‘Ultimate Prom’ show. Not sure what her role will be, but usually they have judges or special performances at the Prom event in NYC, last year was Ashanti, Lloyd and others.

Shontelle uploaded TONS of Kyte videos from the ‘Stuck with each Other’ videoshoot, browsing Kyte videos can be pretty difficult sometimes, so i’ve put together all the links and a short description to the individual videos excluding some 2 second clips. Enjoy!

1. First video – This is the same clip we posted earlier with Shontelle on the set.

2. Second video – A 30 sec clip of her shooting a scene wearing an unseen little pink dress.

3. Third video – In the same scene, this time wearing  another unseen yellow silhouette dress

4. Fourth video – Everyone getting ready to leave, and Shontelle stops to take a few pictures with her ‘boyfriend’ from the videoshoot Marlon Yates (model).

5. Fifth video – A 24 second clip of her in one of the video scenes projected on a TV.

6. Sixth video – Mark and Evan Rogers playing around during the videoshoot.

7. Seventh video – Shontelle being delirious while getting her touch-up’s for her last scene.

The ‘Stuck with each Other’ videoshoot is lookin good so far, i cant wait! The outfit she’s wearing in the pictures from the Shontelle and Akon scene has me a bit curious tho… but we shall see how things come together hopefully soon! Check out the pictures!
