Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009Shontelle recently shot her video for her new single Licky (Under The Covers) in Los Angeles, it was directed by Ray Kay. Licky impacts radio in January with a new album to follow in April.
She has been in the studio with DJ Frank E & Sean Garrett, Jimmy Harry & Tony Kanal, Arnthor Birgisson, Harry Sommerdahl, and Martin Hansen. In the near future she will be working with Jim Jonsin, Danja, Rico Love and SRP among others.

Monday, November 16th, 2009Shontelle is the perfect mix of brains and beauty. The 23 year old Bajan beauty is not just a pretty face. Producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken discovered her after receiving attention for her girl-power anthem “Roll It”, which she wrote in Barbados. Her single, “T-Shirt”, from her debut album “Shontelligence”, reached top 10 on the Top 40 chart. The single was so successful that HANES clothing brand sponsored a series of events in her honor. Her second single from her debut album “Battle Cry” was featured on the official Obama Campaign Compilation: Yes We Can.
Shontelle has been featured in such outlets as Elle, Marie Claire, Seventeen, OK!, Vibe, Billboard and the UK Sunday Times as a cover star. She has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in the business. Wether opening for Beyonce during her UK tour or exchanging vocals with Akon on the Disney inspired track “Stuck with Each Other” for the acclaimed Confessions of A Shopaholic soundtrack, Shontelle sets no boundaries.
Shontelle has appeared as a spokes model for VEET and served as an ambassador for the Hearst Magazine sponsored Ultimate Prom. She will also appear in the 2010 teen book by Bobbi Brown. She is currently in studio prepping her sophomore album release and will take center stage performing a Motown classic, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” for the 2009 United Way Thanksgiving Day NFL Halftime Show: A Motown 50th Anniversary Tribute.

Quick News: 1 Million Sold + Next Single & Album
Monday, November 9th, 2009Shontelle’s debut single “T-Shirt” recently hit the 1 million sales mark WORLDWIDE. Shontelle is keeping busy working on her sophomore album. She was recently in Sweden working with Arnthor Birgisson, Martin Hansen, and Harry Sommerdahl.
She has also been working with Frank E and Sean Garrett. Her first single will hit radio early next year (January 2010) with a summer album to follow.
