• Shontelle’s is off to LA to prepare for her “Perfect Nightmare” video shoot tomorrow (Sept 1st) with director Colin Tilley, who has worked with artist such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, Tyga, and more! Yesterday, he tweeted “doing alot of interesting set design for this shoot on Wednesday. Gonna spend tomorrow overseeing the building process of a very stylized boxing arena.” – This should be interesting!
• UK group JLS’s next single due for release in America on September 14th, will feature Shontelle. Production duo ‘The Runners’ posted a message on Twitter announcing that she will be featured on their track entitled ‘Ay Mama’. Click here to listen to the solo version JLS performed a few weeks ago. Love it!
• “Perfect Nightmare” cracked the Top 100 on Mediabase (Radio) earlier this week before it’s official radio impact release date, which is today! Look out for a newly designed request page coming soon!

What better way to start off this week?

Shontelle now lands her debut on the Top 40 Mediabase charts, making her now a top 40 artist in the USA with her new single “Impossible” from her upcoming sophomore album “No Gravity”, due this summer on SRP/SRC/Universal Motown.

This would not have been possible without the fans out there calling and requesting the song at their at radio stations. Keep it up! Let’s progress and keep her in the Top 40, hopefully pushing our way into the Top 30 next!

As of today, Shontelle’s “IMPOSSIBLE” so far peaks at a staggering #48 on the official CHR/POP Top 50 Mediabase radio airplay chart!

Top radio stations such as WHTZ and WXRK in New York City, KIIS and KAMP in Los Angeles, WKSC-FM in Chicago, WHYI in Miami, KDWB in Minneapolis, and WFLZ in Tampa, FL are the best-known CHR/Pop stations in the U.S.

As of today (December 6, 2009), Licky surprisingly made its way to a staggering #3 spot on Shontelle’s most popular selling songs on U.S. iTunes! Note that “Licky” was only officially released on iTunes just under a month ago, while her previous single “Stuck with Each Other” charts at #5 and the recent “Motown 50th Medley” at #4.

People in different areas of the U.S might see a different listing than above, because it tends to fluctuate up and down, but for sure it secures a Top 4 position.

It is quite shocking for “Licky” to reach #3 so fast, but it definitely shows its potential. With an official U.K iTunes release yet to come, an EPIC music video on the way, the single officially hitting radio come January 2010, and an amazing album to follow in April, 2010/11 is looking to be her year.

Just a few more days until Shontelle’s infectious new single “Battle Cry” is officially released in the UK (August 10th, 2009). Already it’s making a splash currently sitting at #55 and rising on the iTunes Top 100 UK chart!

It is one of her most uplifting songs from her debut album, Shontelligence. The song’s message struck such a powerful, positive message that it was used on President Barack Obama’s campaign compilation CD “Yes We Can: Voices of Grass Roots Movement.”
