“Music fans can definitely expect growth and evolution with the new album. Album three will be very raw and personal,” Shontelle explained. “There are also some very incredible collaborations. My fans demand it, so they’re gonna get it. They want more fun and less tears. So let’s get bubbly! But you know you shouldn’t try to fix something that’s not broken and you can’t leave your core base behind, so you can still expect those classic Shontelle power ballad-tear jerkers as usual.”
New single off 3rd untitled album “Put Me On Blast” co-witten by Greg Oran, Corey Chours and Nikki Flores was shot last month in Los Angeles, California.
Shontelle recently took her tumblr to ‘educate’ her fans to some of the music she’s been working on. With features of fellow Barbadian Singer/Songwriter Hal Linton and Bahamian Singer Julien Believe. Another song “Freak” recently surfaced featuring Jamaican Artist Gyptian. Consequently removed under Copyrights Infringement

She performed an alternate rendition of”10 to 1,” “Impossible,” and a cover of ”Knocking on Heaven’s Door” with Cairokee (Egyptian Band), and for the climax of the show ”Tol3eit Ya Ma7la,طلعت يا محلا نورها, Sunny” alongside Arabic singer Sabar Al Rebai & Cairokee. The Christmas season has hardly begun and Shontelle’s giving back to her fans by releasing a new song entitled “10 to 1″ which she premiered on Tumblr and Facebook with the following message.

~ SHONTELLE ’10 to 1′ COVER ART FAN CONTEST ~
Attention All Shontelle Fans!!! Due to the resounding positive response to Shontelle’s new holiday song “10 to 1″, Shontelle started a contest a few weeks ago asking fans too design their own artwork for the new song and submit it for her to personally pick her favor for the official cover.
She had a hard time deciding through hundreds of entries but has narrowed it down to her Top 5, where the fans will then face off against each other in a voting dual. Good luck!
UPDATE: The first poll which ended on December 28th turned out to be an exact tie breaker of 536 votes between 004 and 005. A decision has been made by Shontelle and fans alike to extend the voting between these two for a deadlock voting face off! Closes: December 31th, 2012 @ 11:59 PM EST.
Due to the perturb concerns disclosed by Momma Layne (Shontelle’s Mother) about her babygirl allegedly dropping the F-Bomb multiple times in her leaked club smash “Ready To Go,” so for Momma’s Layne peace of mind Shontelle went out her way to provide a “clean” version of the song.
Quite ironic as the original Rockwilder – produced version wasn’t really “dirty” to begin with, just a little “funky.” Props to Shontelle for respecting her mother and providing this clean version, but Momma Layne come on give our Shonny a break, She just wants to “Play That Play That Music!” We LOVE Ready To Go, both versions!
